Some more about Alex:

As lead guitarist with the senior rock stars, The Young at Heart Chorus Alex has toured extensively around the globe from Canada to New Zealand, Singapore to Switzerland and all across the USA. He was lucky enough to tour Japan twice (in 2010 and 2012) and played to capacity crowds in some of the country’s best concert halls. He is also featured heavily in the soundtrack to the Fox Searchlight movie, “Young at Heart”.

In 2013 Alex formed a rock trio named Colorway and has since put out two full-length album with the group. Their sophomore album, The Black Sky Sequined, was mastered by engineering legend Bob Ludwig. Diffuser’s Chuck Armstrong called “Come Back July” (the first single off the album) “. . . impossibly catchy” and Modern Rock Review’s Ric Albano called the album “. . . one of the finest rock albums of 2015.”

You can stream and/or purchase both of Colorway’s full-length albums at: http://www.colorway.bandcamp.com/

The songs Alex writes now combine smart, sharp hooks with melodic, inventive and exciting lead guitar playing. With steady and sure vocals he sings about love, loss, redemption, acceptance, joy and why it’s probably for the best that we don’t know what’s right around the corner.
